Popular TV star and Bigg Boss 4 winner Shweta Tiwari on Monday shared a shocking video on her Instagram handle accusing her estranged husband Abhinav Kohli of psychically assaulting her and scaring their toddler son Reyansh. The actress posted the video as a counter-attack on her husband after he accused her of not taking care of their son, and leaving him behind for the shoot of a reality show, and not disclosing its location.
Shweta Tiwari has now retaliated by sharing two horrific videos on Instagram. The first video she shared seems to be the CCTV footage from her society garden, while the second one is a video of her son looking terrified and hiding inside the blanket because of what he saw earlier.
In the CCTV footage Shweta can be seen trying to protect her son Reyansh while Abhinav is continuously following her and trying to snatch Reyansh. After a long manhandling, Shweta eventually falls down and Abhinav snatches Reyansh and takes him into the building.
In the post caption, the actress wrote “Now let the truth Come out!!!! (But this is not going to stay forever on my account, I will eventually delete it, I am posting this right now to reveal the truth, then it goes off) This is why my Child is scared of him! After this incident my child was scared for more than a month, he was so scared that he would not even sleep properly at Night! His hand hurt for more than 2 weeks. Even now he is scared of his papa coming home or meeting him. I can’t let my Child go Through this mental trauma. I try my best to keep him calm and happy! But this Horrible Man makes sure my baby’s mental health goes back to Square one! If this is not Physical abuse then what is!!!!?? It is the CCTV footage of my society (sic),”
After the video came out many fellow actors of Shweta Tiwari came forward and showed their sympathy for the mother and son. Producer Ekta Kapoor commented “Why is this guy not arrested” while Karanvir Bohra’s wife, wrote, “It is a very sick and sad mentality that everyone is shamelessly standing there and watching? And some even walked away There was a struggle and NOBODY tried to help or find out what was going on (sic).”
Many co-actors and Shweta's followers have urged her to immediately file an FIR against Abhinav and let him pay for what he has done.
Responding to the videos posted by the actress on her Instagram handle, Abhinav Kohli has come out with his side of story. The actor has posted an hour-long video, captioning it with let the real truth came out.
Shweta and Abhinav got married in 2013 after dating each other for a very long time. They welcomed son Reyansh in 2016. In 2017, the couple took the decision of giving each other divorce and living a separate life. Shweta has already filed a complaint of domestic violence against her ex-husband.
