The 9th episode of Bigg Boss OTT aired on Tuesday (17 August) was a treat for the audience. While the second day of the Panchayat task brought up many heated arguments, Bigg Boss surprised the guests with another bomb. During the second day, the audience witnessed a lot of group-ism in the house that made contestants go furious.
In the Panchayat task, the BB houseguests were divided into two groups and were seen fighting over household chores. The housemates were seen exchanging words over petty issues including basic hygiene, salt, and whatnot. In the middle of the task, Ridhima Pandit and Karan Nath locked horns with Pratik as he called their best friend Raqesh Bapat ‘spineless’.
Further, in the show, Akshara Singh once again indulged in a heated argument with co-contestant Shamita Shetty and tried to insult her over her age. As they exchanged words over a simple kitchen, Akshara said that Shamita is as old as her mother, not for the first time. Akshara accused Shamita of speaking English in the house and acting like the boss of the house. "You show off your English and hound others," Akshara said in Hindi. Shamita replied, "It doesn't matter what language I speak in, you get on my nerves."
"I am not your servant," Shamita yelled at her, and later, spoke in private to Raqesh Bapat. Shamita said to him, "Whenever I say something to her, she starts attacking me." Outside, in the kitchen area, Akshara wasn't willing to calm down. She yelled, "She is as old as my mother, doesn't she have any manners? She's a very ill-mannered woman.
Coming back at the Panchayat task, in the third round of the nomination task Shamita, Raqesh, Moose Jattana, and Nishant Bhat couldn’t reach to any conclusion in choosing the weakest connection in the house between Neha Bhasin – Milind Gaba and Akshara Singh – Pratik Sehajpal resulting in Bigg Boss punishing the whole house. As a punishment, Bigg Boss nominated the whole house for the upcoming week.
