Ameesha Patel recently faced social media backlash through a warm picture shared with businessman Nirvaan Birla.
The click that was shared on her social media within minutes fetched all the attention and not all the reactions came as positive as many of her fans expressed their admiration for the actress and a chunk of the netizens went heavily troll on her.
On Tuesday, 'Gadar' actress Ameesha was seen cuddling with Nirvaan Birla while giving each other an amorous peck on the cheeks. The duo can be seen at a restaurant, enjoying their time in the picture posted by Ameesha. In the caption, she lovingly called Nirvaan her "darling". She wrote, "DUBAI — lovely evening with my darling @nirvaanbirla," and followed that up with several red heart emojis.
Interestingly, Nirvaan replied saying, "Too much fun! Love you."
While commenting on the photo, one user posted, "Ameesha likes rich men." Another commented, "You look like his mom." One of the trolls age-shamed the actress, writing, "19 saal chota hai."
Another angry commenter wrote, "It's greatest downfall, from very rich very successful starting in Bollywood to this."
While Ameesha is 49 years old, Nirvaan is 30.
Nirvaan: An entrepreneur, edupreneur, and singer. For those who don't know, the myriad talents of this person can be summarised as: He is the founder of Birla Brainiacs and Birla Open Minds. And what's more, the energetic young child is Yashovardhan Birla and Avanti Birla's son.
Speaking of Patel's love life, the actress had been spotted with a few big-name personnel. One of the most-widely discussed, though, was her alleged affair with the director Vikram Bhatt. Reportedly, it was in 2002 during the filming of "Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage." The affair didn't last long after several years, though.
Ameesha allegedly later fell in love with London-based entrepreneur Kanav Puri. Her romance would often make it to the headlines as she frequently was seen accompanying him to public events and parties. The couple, although pretty close, broke up. Ameesha later revealed that it was tough to maintain the relationship, which had long-distance issues.
On the work front, Ameesha was last seen in "Gadar 2", the much-awaited sequel to her 2001 hit film. She was out on screen with Sunny Deol. The film became a grand success; Anil Sharma's direction shattered box office records by earning nearly Rs 700 crore.
