Both Ranveer and Samay have issued public apologies, and the controversial episode has since been removed from YouTube. Addressing the situation, Samay stated that he would fully cooperate with the authorities, writing, "Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all *India's Got Latent* videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you."

Ranveer also issued a heartfelt apology through a video, admitting, "My comment wasn't just inappropriate, it wasn't even funny. Comedy is not my forte. I am just here to say sorry. Many of you have asked if this is how I want to use my platform. Obviously, this is not how I wish to use it."

When asked about the controversy, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis weighed in, stating, "Everyone has freedom of speech, but this freedom ends when we encroach upon others' freedom. If anyone crosses these limits, action will be taken. I am not here to give any context, justification, or reasoning for whatever happened. I am just here for an apology. I personally had a lapse in judgment; it wasn’t cool on my part. The podcast is watched by people of all ages. I don’t want to be the kind of person that takes that responsibility lightly. Family is the last thing I would ever disrespect."
