The Sabarmati Report' derived from the burning of the Sabarmati Express train. Tragic incident occurred on February 27, 2002, in which a mob set on fire the S6 coach of the Sabarmati Express near the Godhra railway station in Gujarat.
In this film, an English journalist, played by the actress, stands up to the system because he wants the truth to be covered. The film has two journalists coming together to uncover the brutal truth behind one of India's most controversial incidents, played by Raashii and Vikrant.
Showing the tragic events of the Sabarmati Express back in 2002 at Godhra in Gujarat, the film has already witnessed the power of performances by them in the recently released trailer, and anticipation for the film has only grown stronger as the release date approaches.
Presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, Vikir Films, 'The Sabarmati Report' is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan and Anshul Mohan. The movie will hit theatres on November 15.
