Engaging with his 16.4 million Instagram followers, Vicky recently conducted an "Ask Away" session about 'Sam Bahadur'. When asked whom he'd dedicate awards to for the film, he promptly replied with a still from the movie, stating it would be dedicated to the Indian Army.
Describing his character 'SAM', he cryptically referred to the role as someone connected to everyone.
Reflecting on learning about Gurkha history for the film, he found the experience inspiring and motivating.
Asked what he'd ask Sam Manekshaw if they met, Vicky humorously shared he'd likely be starstruck and left speechless, expressing his admiration in his heart.
Sharing his shooting experience in Ooty, Vicky mentioned enjoying simple pleasures like roadside Maggie and bhutta with Katrina, celebrating their first wedding anniversary amidst the beautiful tea gardens during the ‘Sam Bahadur’ shoot.
Addressing the challenge of getting into character, Vicky labeled it his most demanding role to date.
When asked about the duration of the film's production, he laid out the extensive timeline spanning script development, technical preparation, shooting across 13 cities and 8 states, all dedicated to portraying one legend over several years.
