Bollywood sensation Vicky Kaushal, basking in the acclaim for his recent film 'Sam Bahadur,' made a captivating appearance on the latest episode of the popular streaming chat show 'Koffee With Karan.' Joining him was his 'Lust Stories' co-star, Kiara Advani. In a candid moment, Vicky shared insights into his marriage with actress Katrina Kaif, branding her as someone who masters the art of reverse psychology.
During the lively 'Koffee Shots' round, host Karan Johar delved into the secrets behind getting their partners to comply with their wishes. While Kiara remained mum on the topic, Vicky let slip the strategy that governs decision-making in the Kaushal household.
He divulged, "Katrina is a pro at reverse psychology. If I want her to agree on something, I have to wholeheartedly endorse her perspective. And then, magically, she acknowledges my point of view, saying, 'By the way, I see your reasoning.' That's when things turn around."
The conversation veered to Vicky's experience working alongside Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan. Recounting an incident during a crucial shoot where Shah Rukh had to urgently attend to matters in Delhi, Vicky revealed, "There was this pivotal moment in the film for my character which required his presence, but due to unavoidable circumstances, he had to rush for important work in Delhi."
He continued, "Post his crucial commitments in Delhi, late into the night, he reached out to me via call and then a long heartfelt message, apologizing for missing the shot. He insisted, 'Vicky, we'll redo that shot. I feel terrible that I couldn't be there.' I attempted to reassure him, citing the director's satisfaction, but he was insistent on redoing it, expressing regret for his absence."
The engaging banter and revealing anecdotes are part of 'Koffee with Karan' season 8, available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar, offering fans an inside look into the industry's personalities and their intriguing tales.
