Actress Urvashi Rautela recently found herself in the midst of a controversy after her remarks in a recent advertisement for a matrimony brand sparked allegations of indirect mockery towards Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant.
In the ad, while discussing various professions including actors, businessmen, singers, and batsmen, Urvashi remarked, "Kuch log toh meri height ke bhi nahi hai" (Some people aren't even as tall as me).
Despite the innocuous nature of her statement within the context of the scripted advertisement, it quickly gained traction online, leading to unnecessary backlash.
Clarifying her stance, Urvashi took to her Instagram Stories to address the rumors, asserting that the script was provided by the brand and was not aimed at anyone in particular. She emphasized the importance of spreading positivity and highlighted her role as a responsible brand ambassador, urging for kindness and understanding.
