Earlier, the makers of the film introduced Amitabh Bachchan's character as Ashwatthama, a veteran Bollywood megastar, by making a grand projection at Nemawar, Narmada Ghat, in Madhya Pradesh.
The choice of Nemawar and Narmada Ghat for this revelation is deeply symbolic because Ashwatthama is said to still roam the grounds of Narmada.
This epic film boasts an ensemble cast, featuring industry icons like Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in pivotal roles.
This multilingual, mythology-inspired sci-fi extravaganza is helmed by Nag Ashwin and bankrolled by Vyjayanthi Movies. 'Kalki 2898 AD' is set in the distant future and is to be released on June 27, 2024.
