Bollywood megastar Salman Khan, recently seen in the Diwali blockbuster 'Tiger 3,' is set to portray the role of Brigadier Farukh Bulsara in his upcoming film titled 'Bull.' The actor is rigorously undergoing physical training for 3.5 hours a day and has made adjustments to his diet to authentically embody the character.

The film, directed by Vishnu Varadhan and produced by Dharma Productions, commenced with the mahurat shot in Mumbai on December 29. Salman Khan is also actively training with paramilitary forces as part of his preparation for the role.

According to a source, Salman Khan will portray Brigadier Farukh Bulsara, who played a pivotal role in Operation Cactus in 1988 in the Maldives. The film is set to begin filming in February, and Salman is leaving no stone unturned to accurately depict the character of Brigadier Bulsara, a paramilitary officer.

'Bull' aims to retell the story of Operation Cactus, where the Indian Armed Forces assisted the Maldives in regaining control after a coup attempt led by businessman Abdullah Luthufi and the People’s Liberation Organisation of Tamil Eelam (PLOTE) in 1988. Indian forces successfully neutralized the mercenaries, restoring control to President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom’s government within hours.
