The Kashmir Files: Kapil Sharma denies Vivek Agnihotri's claim of not being invited on his show due to no big star cast

Reacting to one of his Twitter followers who urged to boycott the show after the directors claim, Kapil Sharma tweeted “Yeh sach nahi hai rathore sahab aapne pujha isliye bata dia, baki jinhone sach maan hi liya unko explanation dene ka kya fayda (This is not true, I have replied because you asked me about it, but those who have already accepted it to be true, there is no use in giving them an explanation).

A day after The Kashmir Files director Vivek Agnihotri alleged Kapil Sharma for not inviting him and his movie’s star cast on The Kapil Sharma Show due to no big star cast, Kapil has come forward to clear the air. The comedian took to his Twitter and revealed that the claim is not true.

Reacting to one of his Twitter followers who urged to boycott the show after the directors claim, Kapil Sharma tweeted “Yeh sach nahi hai rathore sahab aapne pujha isliye bata dia, baki jinhone sach maan hi liya unko explanation dene ka kya fayda (This is not true, I have replied because you asked me about it, but those who have already accepted it to be true, there is no use in giving them an explanation). Just a suggestion as an experienced social media user:- never believe in one-sided stories in today’s social media world. dhanyawaad.”

The claim of Agnihotri came when a Twitter user asked him why he and his star cast is not going to promote their movie on The Kapil Sharma Show. Reacting to this he said "They refused to call us on their show because we don’t have a big commercial stars. #FACT (sic)."

Later that same day, Agnihotri made another tweet that said, "I don’t get to decide who should be invited on @KapilSharmaK9 show. It’s his and his producer’s choice whom he wants to invite. As far as Bollywood is concerned, I’d say what once Mr. Bachchan was quoted saying about the Gandhis: Vo raja hai hum rank."

After coming across the allegations of Vivek, netizens got really upset and even asked to boycott The Kapil Sharma Show. "Boycott Kapil Sharma show. Anyways... i have said earlier also... this show is worth nothing (sic)," read the tweet.

Talking about the movie titled The Kashmir Files is helmed by Vivek Agnihotri and is a real-life story, adapted from video interviews of the first generation victims of The Kashmir Genocide of the Kashmiri Pandit Community. Comprising Mithun Chakraborty as Brahma Dutt, Anupam Kher as Pushkarnath, Darshan Kumar as Krishna Pandit, Pallavi Joshi as Radhika Menon, Bhasha Sumbali as Shraddha Pandit, Chinmay Mandlekar as Farooq Malik aka Bitta in the lead, the movie is slated to see its release on March 11, 2022.
