Rapper King, known for hits like 'Tu Aake Dekhle' and 'Maan Meri Jaan,' has secured the top spot on Spotify Wrapped in India. King, whose real name is Arpan Chandel, has garnered a strong fan following with his chart-topping music. His collaboration with international pop star Nick Jonas on the reboot of 'Tu Maan Meri Jaan' further boosted his popularity.
Following King's 'Maan Meri Jaan,' the second position on the Spotify Wrapped India list went to 'Kahani Suno 2.0' by Kaifi Khalil. The third spot was claimed by the viral hit 'Kesariya' from the movie 'Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva,' featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
Other songs that made it to the list include 'Malang Sajna,' 'Cheques,' 'Heeriye' by Arijit Singh and Jasleen Royal, 'Chaleya' (from 'Jawan'), 'Phir Aur Kya Chahiye' (from 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke'), 'Agar Tum Saath Ho' (from 'Tamasha'), and 'Daku.'
In addition to King's success in the song category, Arijit Singh emerged as the most-listened-to artist on Spotify in India. Arijit, who gained prominence with his breakout success in 'Aashiqui 2' a decade ago, continues to dominate the music scene. Pritam, Arijit's mentor and guru, secured the second spot on the list. Arijit started his career as an assistant to Pritam and sang scratches for him before establishing himself as a leading playback singer.
