Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi has earned over Rs 100 cr in just 5 days of its release.
The film has done business as per the expectations as its announcement for its theatrical release on Diwali had raised high hopes in the Bollywood industry.

Total: 102.81 cr. India biz," wrote senior movie critic business analyst Taran Adarsh, as he gave the detailed break-up of film's 5-day collections.
Having suffered multiple setbacks owing to closure of theatres and other civil restriction in the ongoing pandemic, Sooryavanshi has managed to record an impressive business, restoring people's belief in theatres as a medium of cinema. The film is Shetty's ambitious addition to his cop universe after Singham, Singham 2 and Simmba.

Ranveer Singh, who has an extended cameo in the film along with Ajay Devgn, took to his Instagram to share a special video dedicated to the director. He captioned the video, "THE BOSS ! @itsrohitshetty #sooryavanshi"
The film is Rohit Shetty's 9th century at the box-office, grabbing the third spot after 'Simmba' and 'Singham Returns', to become the fastest Rs 100 crore grosser.
