In the deep fake video, an impersonator engaged with a family, assuring them of financial assistance for medical treatment. Sonu Sood uploaded the video to dispel any confusion, emphasizing that he was not involved in the interaction.
In the caption, Sonu Sood revealed that his upcoming film, 'Fateh,' draws inspiration from real-life incidents involving deep fake technology and fake loan apps. The film, for which Sonu Sood serves as the writer and director, explores the consequences of such incidents. He explained that 'Fateh' is based on over a year of research, including interviews with victims, cybercrime police officers, and ethical hackers.
In 'Fateh,' Sonu Sood plays the role of an investigation agent on a mission to protect the country from cybercrimes. The movie aims to shed light on the dangers of emerging technologies and online scams, urging people to be vigilant and cautious, especially when faced with unexpected financial solicitations.
