Reports from Mirror.co.uk unveiled that Gabriel was stabbed while resting at the iconic Copacabana beach in the early hours of Sunday morning. According to Mirror.co.uk, Gabriel's family has announced his funeral will be held in his hometown in the western state of Mato Grosso do Sul. In a poignant tribute, Gabriel will be laid to rest adorned in the attire he had meticulously prepared for Taylor's concert.

In an interview with local media outlet g1, Gabriel's family expressed that he was realizing a cherished dream by journeying to witness Taylor's performance. Originating from Belo Horizonte, Gabriel ventured to Rio, driven by his profound admiration for the pop sensation. Described as cheerful, affectionate, and exceptionally diligent, Gabriel, an only child, remained closely connected to his mother even after pursuing studies in another state.

The tragic event unfolded as Gabriel, accompanied by two cousins, decided to take a swim at Copacabana beach. As detailed by The Messenger, Gabriel had dozed off when three individuals approached him, leading to a sudden assault resulting in the fatal stabbing as he woke up during the altercation.

While Taylor Swift has yet to address Gabriel's demise, her Instagram post following Ana Clara's passing reflected profound sorrow and disbelief.

Expressing her grief, Taylor shared, "I can barely find the words, but it's with a heavy heart that I acknowledge the loss of a fan earlier tonight before my show. I'm devastated beyond measure. I know little except that she was incredibly beautiful and far too young."
