Salman Khan has once again captured attention on social media, this time with a series of rain-soaked photographs that quickly sparked conversation among fans. Posing against a backdrop of lush greenery and misty hills, the actor shared the images with a one-word caption, "Maatrubhumi," prompting speculation about his forthcoming film. While the caption intrigued followers, it was Salman's signature style that drew the most praise.
Dressed in a sleeveless vest paired with ripped jeans, the actor showcased his muscular physique. His defined biceps, broad shoulders and toned arms were prominently visible, with the fitted top highlighting his fitness. The relaxed stance added to the rugged appeal of the photographs, while many admirers pointed out that Salman continues to own the ripped-jeans look. Several fans remarked that he was among the first celebrities to popularise the trend and still carries it effortlessly.
One of the images also led some social media users to believe that the actor was smoking, with a section of fans appreciating what they described as his trademark swag. The latest social media buzz comes shortly after reports suggested that Maatrubhumi, a film said to be inspired by the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between the Indian Army and Chinese troops, had run into issues during the certification process with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Salman Khan Films, however, dismissed those reports and termed them "entirely baseless."
The production house issued an official statement on Instagram, saying, "Any claims suggesting that Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace has encountered issues with the CBFC or that its certification has been put on hold are false. The film has not yet been submitted to the CBFC for certification. Therefore, such reports are entirely baseless."
It further added, "We request that media outlets and individuals refrain from circulating unverified information. Any official updates regarding the film will be shared by Salman Khan Films through its official channels only," concluded the note.
