Bollywood superstar Salman Khan on his 55th birthday announced that his upcoming movie “Radhe- Your most wanted Bhai” will debut on Eid 2021. Directed by dancing sensation Prabhudeva, Radhe was all set to release on May 22 this year but was postponed amid the Covid-19 outbreak.
Asked about the release date, Salman said though he wants Radhe to release on Eid 2021, but the release date is yet to be confirmed.
"The situation is grave now… when people start going back to theatres and when they have money to spend on entertainment… We had made a commitment for the Eid release last year and will give a commitment for this Eid soon. If everything is clear, we will release it this Eid or it will release whenever it has to," Salman was quoted saying in a report by Pinkvilla.
Salman who is celebrating his 55th birthday with his family and friends at his Panvel Farmhouse also said that audience's health is more important than Radhe’s release.
"Important thing is that when we release ‘Radhe’ everyone should be safe that time in theatres. And God forbid, if something happens it won’t be acceptable. We will have to plan it successfully," said the superstar during a media interaction at his farmhouse.
Salman will be seen sharing the screen with Disha Patani and Randeep Hooda in Radhe. It was also recently reported that actor Jackie Shroff is going to play the role of Salman’s Boss in the movie.
