Salman and Katrina's 'Tiger 3' Headed to OTT Release Following Theatrical Run

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's latest action-packed venture, 'Tiger 3,' is gearing up for its OTT release, making its digital debut two months after its silver screen launch.

Produced by Aditya Chopra and helmed by Maneesh Sharma, this high-octane action-thriller, also starring Emraan Hashmi, is set to stream on Prime Video starting this Sunday. The streaming will feature the film in Hindi along with Tamil and Telugu dubs.

Akshaye Widhani, CEO of Yash Raj Films, expressed enthusiasm about the success and growth of the Tiger franchise, terming it as a significant IP in Indian cinema. He emphasized the franchise's evolution with each installment, asserting its stature as one of the most monumental in Indian cinema.

'Tiger 3' marks the third installment in the illustrious Tiger franchise, following the successes of 'Ek Tha Tiger' and 'Tiger Zinda Hai.'

The storyline revolves around Tiger (Salman Khan), his partner Zoya (Katrina Kaif), and a resentful terrorist, Aatish Rehman (Emraan Hashmi). The narrative escalates when Tiger is faced with a dilemma—to prioritize safeguarding his nation or protecting his family.

Manish Menghani, director and head of content licensing at Prime Video India, highlighted the longstanding partnership with Yash Raj Films, which has brought successful films to their platform. He referenced the premiere of 'Pathaan' last year and expressed excitement to present 'Tiger 3,' another blockbuster from the YRF Spy Universe, as a perfect kickoff to the year.
