Reynolds expressed his desire for more Blade content with the message: “More Blade please. #DayWalker. A Logan-style farewell, specifically,” referring to the 2017 film that featured an older Wolverine.

Before taking on the role of Deadpool in 2016’s *Deadpool* and appearing in 2009’s *X-Men Origins: Wolverine*, Reynolds had a different role as Hannibal King in “Blade: Trinity,” based on the Tomb of Dracula comics.

Recently, Reynolds also shared a poignant tribute on Instagram for Robert Delaney, his co-star in “Deadpool & Wolverine,” whose son, Henry, passed away in 2018. Reynolds posted a series of photos of Delaney and expressed his sorrow over the loss.

He wrote: “Rob Delaney brought PeterPool (formerly known as Sugarbear) to life, redefining the modern moose-knuckle with both style and practicality. And if the theories are true, he might be the new Anchor Being.”

Reynolds continued, “Rob is a talented, sharp, and deeply emotional writer. If you stayed through the credits of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine,’ you would have seen the dedication ‘For Henry Delaney.’ Henry was Rob’s son, who tragically passed away from a brain tumor in 2018, shortly after we completed ‘Deadpool 2.’”

Reynolds admitted, “I’ve always regretted not including a tribute to Henry in the end credits of ‘DP2.’ On the bright side, more people are now seeing Henry’s name in the credits of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine,’ and finally, father and son are sharing the screen together.”
