Rashmika Shares 'Flowery' Update as She Begins Filming for Salman Khan's ‘Sikandar’

The 'Sikandar' actress, Priyanka Chopra Jonas on Wednesday shared a small video from day 1 of the shoot from the sets of 'Sikandar'. Taking to the Stories section of her Instagram, in the video, one can see a bouquet of flowers. Excitedly, the actress wrote in the video, "Flowers" and she made a Korean heart with her fingers.

Starting to shoot for her role in the movie 'Sikandar', actress Rashmika Mandanna has an array of films lined up to be released. The actress will be opposite Salman Khan in the movie.

Sikandar' is the 1st time collaboration of Salman with Rashmika and is directed by AR Murugadoss, who has given films like 'Ghajini' and 'Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty'.

The film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. It brings Salman together with Sajid after 'Kick' that released in 2014. The makers have booked Eid 2025 as the release date for the film, the festival which is kept reserved for releases of Salman Khan.

Of late, Rashmika shared that she had a minor accident. She had also said that during recovery, she is having loads of laddoos.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rashmika, who last delivered a blockbuster with Ranbir Kapoor, 'Animal', is soon going to do an on-screen character encore of Srivalli in the Allu Arjun-starrer 'Pushpa 2: The Rule'. She will also be seen in 'Kubera' and 'Chhaava' opposite Vicky Kaushal.

In the movie, 'Chhaava', she will be seen as Yeshubai Bhosle, wife of Sambhaji Maharaj, with Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta in pivotal roles. The original Marathi film, 'Chhava', which is remade in Hindi, is all set to hit the box office on December 6, 2025, and will face a tough competition from a potential box office monster 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' starring Allu Arjun, which is a rare incident when any actress's two films have clashed at the box office.

This will be Vicky's 2nd biggest clash after 'Sam Bahadur' which clashed with the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer 'Animal'.
