The release date was changed once again to December 5. Initially, the film was clashing with the Vicky Kaushal-starrer 'Chhaava' which is a biopic based on the life of Maratha warrior king Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Indian warrior-king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

However, the producers of 'Chhaava' have allegedly shifted the film's release date to avoid the clash. 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' will arrive in the theatres on December 5, 2024.
