BOLLYWOOD Star Rani Mukerji was the epitome of gorgeous as she celebrated Kali Puja with cousin Tanisha but Kajol, seemingly, seemed to give it a skip and went unnoticed.
Here is doing rounds a video featuring Rani in Indian outfit-aubergine- with a hint of golden detailing-posing around and taking snaps with little Tanisha-the younger sis of Kajol among many of their friends.
Kali Puja is the worship of the Hindu goddess Kali and is observed on the new moon day in the month of Ashwayuja or Kartika of the Hindu calendar. It is very popular in West Bengal and also widely practiced in Mithila, Jharkhand, Odisha, Assam, and Tripura.
It is witnessed that Rani, Kajol and Tanisha together went on celebrating Durga Puja. It is on the last day of the pujo where the sisters can be seen playing Sindoor Khela.
Talking about her assignments, Rani next has a new installment up the sleeve in "Mardaani." The flick is announced on 22 August.
The production Yash Raj Films banner took to YouTube, where they dropped a teaser of sorts, which begins from the first installment, which first released in 2014. The teaser shows moments from the first film and then switches to "Mardaani 2," which hits the big screen in 2019.
Directed by Pradeep Sarkar, the first half of this action thriller revolved around the interest of a headstrong police officer, Shivani Shivaji Roy, towards a kidnapped teenage girl who brings out the secrets about the Indian mafia's involvement in human trafficking. It features Jisshu Sengupta, Tahir Raj Bhasin, and Saanand Verma in key supporting roles.
Mardaani 2 was reprising her role as Shivani by 46-year-old Rani Mukerjee again. This time, the character she portrayed in the film was trying to capture a 21-year-old rapist and murderer. Director of this film is Gopi Puthran.
