Actor Rajkummar Rao recently addressed speculations surrounding his appearance, refuting claims of undergoing plastic surgery. The controversy arose following the circulation of photos from a recent event, sparking discussions on social media regarding Rao's altered looks.
Amid promoting his forthcoming biographical drama "Srikanth," Rao clarified the issue, emphasizing that he has not undergone any cosmetic procedures. He attributed the debated photo to extensive retouching, pointing out the flawless appearance of his skin, which he found surprising even without makeup after a day of shooting.
Rao candidly acknowledged facing remarks about his appearance since his early days in the industry. He disclosed a minor enhancement done approximately eight to nine years ago on his chin using fillers, aimed at boosting his confidence. However, he emphasized that such adjustments haven't altered his essence as an individual or as an artist.
Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, "Srikanth" narrates the inspiring journey of visually impaired industrialist Srikanth Bolla, who overcomes adversities to establish himself as an entrepreneur. The film is scheduled for release on May 10.
