Priyanka Chopra Jonas made her fans get a glimpse of her Karwa Chauth celebration with husband Nick Jonas through social media. The desi girl came out in its full filmy avatar as she celebrated the festival in London, posting a string of photos showcasing her celebrations in a maroon tracksuit paired with a red dupatta.
Sharing the pictures on her Instagram handle, the 'Baywatch' actress had captioned, "To all those celebrating… happy Karwa Chauth and yes, I'm filmy." In the first picture, Nick is seen sipping water, while Priyanka sips from a glass. As Priyanka held a pooja thaali, the couple was busy having a video call with her mother Madhu Chopra. Another picture had Priyanka smiling while reading a note with her husband's name.
In the last click, Priyanka showed off her mehendi. The one had Nick's birthday date and the numeral '3' with a heart design. She also included Nick in the selfie. For a special feel, Priyanka also set the track "Chand Chupa Badal Mein" from the 1999 movie 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' as the background song.
For dressing up for the function, Priyanka adorned herself with traditional earrings, bangles, and sindoor.
Priyanka and Nick got married in Christian and Hindu ceremonies on 1 and 2 December 2018, at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. They announced with joy the birth of their daughter Malti Marie through surrogacy in January 2022.
Meanwhile, the lead actress of 'Barfi' has returned to London from a short visit to India. During her stay in Mumbai, she attended a number of functions. At one of these, 'Paani', a film which she produced, was screened.
On the professional front, Priyanka is scheduled to shoot for 'Citadel Season 2.' She will also be seen in 'Heads of State' opposite John Cena and Idris Elba. Further down on her route is 'The Bluff', a Frank E. Flowers-directed film set in the Caribbean in the 19th century, with Priyanka playing a woman pirate.
