Following the nationwide attention stirred by her staged 'death' announcement due to cervical cancer, the controversial actress-model Poonam Pandey was spotted at Mumbai's Laxmi Narayan Temple in Andheri.
In the visuals captured, Poonam donned an ethnic yellow kurta paired with matching palazzos and a pink dupatta. Maintaining a natural look with open tresses and no makeup, she held a 'puja thali' in her hands.
When approached by a photographer, Poonam responded with laughter, declaring, "Ek dum first class!" (All good, first class!), exuding positivity.
In a light-hearted exchange, the paparazzo remarked, "Aapne daraa diya" (You scared us). To which, Poonam chuckled and clarified, "Aap darr gaye the, maine daraya bilkul bhi nahi tha" (You got scared, but I didn't intend to scare anyone).
Before heading inside for prayers, she remarked, "Main darshan karke aayi" (I have come for darshan) and proceeded towards the temple. Inside, she was seen offering prayers and seeking blessings.
Amidst the backlash over her controversial 'death stunt', Poonam defended her actions, stating that the stunt successfully brought attention to cervical cancer, with the term appearing in 500 news headlines on the same day.
