Director Baz Lurhmann says four-hour cut of 'Elvis' biopic exists
According to Deadline, when talking about the film, Luhrmann told the Radio Times, "I mean, I have a four-hour version, actually." In the interview, he mentioned there were extra scenes he wanted to add but with the time constraints, the director had to settle for a 2:39 version. "I would have liked to lean into some of the other things more," Luhrmann went on.

According to multiple media reports doing the rounds, Vishal Singh, a Ranchi-based writer has taken a legal path and sued the makers of the movie for reported copyright violation. A local Ranchi court has stepped into the matter, and a viewing of the film is presently scheduled. According to media reports, Singh has stated that the content of his story named 'Punny Rani' was "exploited".
