Daniel Radcliffe learns playing accordion to prep for 'Weird' Al Yankovic biopic
Playing the musician in biopic 'Weird: The Al Yankovic Story', the 33-year-old actor recalled how Yankovic taught him how to play the instrument in preparation for the part, reports aceshowbiz.com. "Honestly, the thing that we worked on the most together was the accordion," Daniel told IndieWire at the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of Eric Appel's film. "He gave me some accordion lessons, which is something that I can take to my grave. I don't need anything else." The actor does not expect audiences to take "a moral" from the film but hopes the spoof helps people delve into their own "weirdness."
Krishnam Raju to be cremated with state honours
Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao directed the officials to make arrangements for Raju's cremation with state honours. The chief minister asked Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar to make the necessary arrangements. Raju, popular as Rebel Star, died early Sunday at AIG Hospital here. He was 83. The last rites will be performed Monday afternoon at Maha Prasthanam in Jubilee Hills. His body was shifted to his residence, where it will be kept till Monday afternoon to enable his fans to pay their last respects.
Salman Khan was on target list of Bishnoi gang: Punjab DGP
The preliminary interrogation of Moosewala murder accused Kapil Pandit revealed that he was approached by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang through Sampat Nehra and Canada-based fugitive Goldy Brar to carry out the killing of Salman Khan, the state police chief told the media here. Santosh Jadhav, who was arrested in Maharashtra in the Moosewala killing, and Sachin Thapan, who has been detained in Azerbaijan, were also part of the module to allegedly target Salman Khan. Salman Khan had received a threat days after Moosewala murder in Punjab's Mansa district on May 29.
