"Music has always been a stressbuster, a companion in your various moods and situations. Listening to good music that is sonically soothing is very important. Music that is jarring in its sound and content can be very harmful. It induces negativity and aggression into your subconscious. I stay away from songs that have regressive or negative connotations," Shaan said.

In 2017, the BMC had served notices to Amitabh Bachchan and seven others, including Rajkumar Hirani, Oberoi Realty, Pankaj Balaji, Sanjay Vyas, Haresh Khandelwal and Haresh Jagtani over "illegal construction". The Bachchan family was earlier served a notice by the Mumbai Civic body for road widening that says a portion of their Pratheeksha bungalow plot will be acquired for the widening of the Sant Dnyaneshwar Marg road, reported news agency ANI.
