'It was an exaggeration': Orry on his claims of getting Rs 20-30 lakh for selfies

Awatramani admitted that his claim was an exaggeration, jokingly remarking that if he actually made that much money per selfie, he would be living a life of luxury on an island yacht.

Orhan Awatramani, the close confidante of Bollywood celebrities, has clarified his earlier statement about earning Rs 20-30 lakhs for selfies. In an interview with IANS, Awatramani admitted that his claim was an exaggeration, jokingly remarking that if he actually made that much money per selfie, he would be living a life of luxury on an island yacht.

“I love the statement I made about selfies, it was an exaggeration and I love how it has made headlines,” he said.

Awatramani's initial statement during his stint on Bigg Boss 17 had left host Salman Khan baffled and generated considerable media buzz. However, Awatramani has now come clean, stating that his earning from selfies is much more modest. "I'd be lucky if I got 20-30 rupees for selfies, but yeah, that's the honest truth," he confessed.

While Awatramani's selfie earnings may not be as extravagant as he initially claimed, his friendship with Bollywood's elite remains strong. He continues to be a popular figure among celebrities, often gracing their social media feeds and attending their events.
