Bollywood’s megastar, Amitabh Bachchan’s bodyguard, Jitendra Shinde has been transferred by Mumbai Police after a report claimed he was earning an annual income of Rs 1.5 crores. To investigate more deeply into this matter, a departmental inquiry has also been initiated.
Constable Jitendra Shinde, attached to the police department of the Mumbai police, was appointed as a bodyguard for Big B and has been serving him since 2015. Now, according to a report by India Today, a report has surfaced that claims that Shinde has been earning Rs. 1.5 crore per year. Mumbai police is now investigating whether Shinde earned the money from Big B or someone else.
In his defense, Shinde told the officials that her wife is running a security agency that provides security to several other celebrities and renowned people. He said that this agency is their main source of income and Amitabh Bachchan did not pay him Rs 1.5 crore.
The report quoted the officials involved in this matter saying, a cop cannot be deployed in one place for more than five years. Jitendra Shinde has been working for Amitabh Bachchan since 2015. Bachchan is an X security holder. Two constables are always posted with him. Shinde was one of Bachchan's favorite bodyguards. He was seen with him at all places. Now as per the rules, Shinda is transferred to a police station located in South Mumbai.
