Malaika Arora regularly posts philosophical quotes on Instagram that resonate with her and her fans. While on vacation in Goa recently, the Bollywood actress posted a quote pointing out what she thinks are the real luxuries in life.
Her post went: "The true luxuries in life: time, health, a still mind, lazy mornings, ability to travel, rest without feeling guilty, good night's sleep, peaceful and 'dull' days, good conversations, home food, people you love, people loving you back."
Malaika and Arjun Reunite on Television Post-Breakup
Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor have recently met in person on India's Best Dancer vs Super Dancer for the first time since they split. Arjun visited the show to promote his movie Mere Husband Ki Biwi, whereas Malaika was given a special tribute by the contestants. The performers took her on stage, where she gave a scintillating performance to her most popular dance tracks, such as Munni Badnaam and Chhaiya Chhaiya. Her charged movements left Arjun clearly stunned.
After her act, host Haarsh Limbachiyaa approached Arjun for his reaction. The actor, taken aback for the moment, retorted, "Meri bolti band ho chuki hai saalo se, mai abhi bhi chup rehna chahta hu (I've been speechless for years; I'd rather remain silent even now)."
He added, "But I must say, seeing all my favorite numbers being sung simply indicates the terrific career and trajectory she has experienced."
Arjun went on to sing Malaika's praises, stating, "The music, the performances, and the fact that we are celebrating someone who is still at the top of her game—congratulations, Malaika. You know how much I love these songs. It was truly amazing to see you being honored this way." Malaika, clearly moved by his compliments, blushed and thanked him.
Arjun Confirms Single Status Post-Split
Malaika and Arjun split up from their long relationship last year. Although neither of them has made a public statement regarding the cause of the split, insiders say that their relationship had merely "run its course."
During a promotional event for Singham Again, Arjun subtly confirmed his single status. In a viral clip from the event, he was seen telling the audience, “Abhi single hoon main, relax" (I’m single now, relax). Speculation about their split had been circulating for months, but both Malaika and Arjun have chosen to keep details of their separation private.
