As a reaction to the atrocities committed in the Pahalgam attack, social activist Faizaan Ansari went all out and put up posters of Pakistani actress Mahira Khan on public toilets in Mumbai.
Speaking to IANS about his controversial act, Faizaan remarked, "I’ve mentioned this before—Pakistan is entirely responsible for the Pahalgam attack. Through this campaign, I’ve placed photos of Mahira Khan on the walls of Mumbai’s public toilets to convey the message that all Pakistan can do is clean toilets."
He urged that his act was a warning to Pakistan: "The entire world will see this picture on the toilet wall. I want Pakistan to understand that if they keep making India restless, we will pulverize them. We have already cut them off from water, and in the future, perhaps we'll cut them off from food as well," Faizaan said.
The activist proved that this was just the start. He is going to hoist posters of other Pakistani stars, such as Hania Aamir and Fawad Khan, on similar public walls in Mumbai.
This comes after India suspended social media accounts of popular Pakistani celebrities such as Mahira Khan, Hania Aamir, Fawad Khan, Atif Aslam, and Ali Sethi, who performed "Pasoori." The Instagram pages of the celebrities now have a message that reads, "Account not available in India. This is because we complied with a legal request to restrict this content."
India-Pakistan conflict escalated after the deadly terrorist attack on Baisaran Valley of Pahalgam, where at least 26 tourists were reported to have lost their lives.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a free hand to defense forces to decide the means, when, and how to conduct any action against Pakistan in retaliation for the attack.
