In a telling glimpse, the formerly titled "M Untitled" script now has a struck-through line, instead bearing the new title "Who's That Girl" — a film released by Madonna in 1987 and a song with the same title.

The script for the biopic has been reshaped so much due to Madonna's collaboration with ECW that it makes this a rather big revival than had indefinitely delayed over a year ago. Initially set to go into production at Universal Pictures before facing some setbacks, it was then that Madonna herself tried to get it burning again recently.

The film was to star Madonna herself, cowritten with Diablo Cody and Erin Cressida Wilson, as the material girl navigated the peaks and troughs of her unparalleled career. Actress Julia Garner remains attached; she was reportedly cherry-picked by Madonna from a rigorous singing and dancing boot camp for the role of the pop sensation.

This long-anticipated biopic of Madonna resurrects the promise that the story will be very personal and real. Having been a career trailblazing queen, her influence on the music and pop culture scene shall never be forgotten.
