Netflix announced on Monday that the Kriti Sanon and Kajol starrer "Do Patti" would hit the platform from 25th October. This is the second film that the two actresses have shared the screen for, after "Dilwale", Rohit Shetty's 2015 directorial, which also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Varun Dhawan. The announcement about the date of "Do Patti" was made by the Netflix India handle on X.

Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi and written by Kanika Dhillon, " Do Patti" is touted as a thriller about the twin sisters, steeped deep in secrets and a spirited police inspector to his toes seeking the truth behind an attempted murder case.
"Set against the misty hills of the fictional town of Devipur, Uttarakhand, the case unfolds, muddled with half-truths and half-lies, where love, betrayal, and revenge create a melee of intrigue, deception, and drama," the makers said in a press release.
Says the video shared by Netflix, Kajol is seen playing a fierce cop, and Sanon in a double role. "Backed by first-time producers Sanon and Dhillon through Blue Butterfly Films and Kathha Pictures, respectively, "Do Patti" also stars newcomer Shaheer Sheikh; veteran actress Tanvi Azmi, and veteran actor Brijendra Kala.
