Singer-songwriter Katy Perry has given fans a glimpse of her recent rehearsal for an upcoming performance, responsible for tracks like 'Dark Horse', 'Last Friday Night', and 'Roar'. She took to Instagram to share a video of her and her dance crew running through her song 'Lifetimes'.
She captioned it, "#LIFETIMES with my boys at rehearsals.
Katy Perry is scheduled to perform in West Hollywood, California, on August 23, before she starts her tour in Brazil.
The Spanish government was reported to have been looking into Katy's case over the alleged location where 'Lifetimes' music video was shot. Reports have surfaced that the video was partly filmed in a forbidden area in Spain, and authorities have further maintained that the producers of the video have failed to obtain a permit that allows them to film in the Ses Salines Natural Park – which lies between Ibiza and Formentera.
The video has Katy riding a motorcycle on a beach and dancing in a nightclub. 'Lifetimes' is the second single from her upcoming album, '143'. Filming without permission in the zone is not an environmental crime but illegal.
### Previously, Katy left behind the judging job of singing reality show 'American Idol' after seven years.
She has sold more than 143 million units worldwide, becoming one of the best-selling music artists globally. Recognized for her mass influence on pop music and her unique style of camp, she is oftentimes called the "Queen of Camp." With her estimated net worth of $500 million, she ranks among the world's wealthiest musicians.
