Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan, who recently won the Best Actor award for his role in the sports biopic Chandu Champion at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, is now participating in the viral social media challenge known as ‘Give me my money’.
On Sunday, Kartik’s manager Isha Goraksha posted a video on her Instagram, featuring a collaboration with the Luka Chuppi actor. In the video, participants of the challenge are seen saying, “Give my money” in various ways and accents, followed by applause.
Kartik, who appears last, says, “Give me my money” while displaying his wallet, only to be met with radio silence as everyone around him bursts into laughter at the playful setup.
In the video, Kartik is dressed in winter wear and sporting a pair of sunglasses.
Earlier this month, Kartik wrapped up the shooting of his upcoming film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. He shared a video on Instagram celebrating the wrap-up, where the film’s director, Anees Bazmee, humorously scolds the film unit when the monitor shows Kartik announcing the wrap-up. Anees then approaches Kartik, and they cut a cake marked with “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Wrap up,” celebrating the end of production with their team.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 continues the horror-comedy franchise Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which initially starred Akshay Kumar. Kartik, who took over the role from Akshay in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 as Rooh Baba, will now star opposite Animal star Triptii Dimri in the third installment.
