Karan Johar has officially declared the release date of his much-awaited romantic drama, Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri.
Starring Kartik Aaryan in the lead, the film is being readied for a big screen theatrical release on February 13, 2026, in time for the Valentine's Day weekend. As per sources, the film is going to be a romantic comedy with a heartwarming theme. Although the first look and official posters have not been out yet, buzz is already developing among fans.
Directed by the critically acclaimed and the renowned *SatyaPrem Ki Katha* director Sameer Vidwans, the film is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Bhumika Tewari, Shareen Mantri Kedia, and Kishor Arora. According to reports, Ananya Panday is already in advanced talks for the female lead role, getting back together with Kartik Aaryan after their hit venture *Pati Patni Aur Woh* (2019).
This is Kartik's second film with Sameer Vidwans after their success SatyaPrem Ki Katha, also co-starring Kiara Advani. A source from the project told us that the team was searching for an actress who would have strong young audience pull, and Ananya was the perfect fit. With the right response to her earlier pairing with Kartik, the makers wanted them together on this Dharma Productions-backed film too.
Tu Meri Main Tera was formally announced on December 25, 2024, with Karan Johar giving fans a special video announcement as a Christmas treat. The movie is likely to start shooting in May 2025.
Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan was recently seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, a horror-comedy that had its theatrical release on November 1, 2024, coinciding with Diwali, before hitting Netflix. Anees Bazmee directed the third part of the popular franchise, which had Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri in prominent roles.
