Actor-comedian Kapil Sharma, who is all set to launch the second season of his streaming comedy sketch show The Great Indian Kapil Show, recently visited the Wagah border with his cast members on the sets.
The team saw the Retreat Ceremony at the Attari-Wagah border, where the energy was charged with patriotic feelings, which came perfectly matching the theme of the second season, as it's been celebrating India's rich and vibrant culture.
Kapil Sharma was excited, saying, "Aaj itna josh dekh ke aisa lag raha hai ki dobara 18 saal ke ho gaye hum log. Aise he aap log apna pyaar banaye rakhiye.". Aur yeh jo mahaul hai wo adbhut hai. Shukriya aap sab ke pyaar ke liye (Seeing this level of enthusiasm today makes me feel like an 18-year-old again. Please keep showing your love like this. The atmosphere here today is incredible. Thank you so much for all the love you’ve shown us).”
The revamped season promise to be full of the spirit of India, featuring Kapil Sharma, Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Rajiv Thakur, and Archana Puran Singh, all set to tickle the audience's funny bones.
Veteran TV personality Archana Puran Singh, on her first visit to the Attari-Wagah border, said: "Pehli baar yahan aakar aisa lag raha hai ki pure Hindustan ka pyaar humari dharti mata ke liye dekhne ko mil raha hain."
She was also one of the crowd in the event who chanted "Bharat Mata ki Jai". After the event came the evening of BSF Jawans, who have been met by thousands of families since the cast.
The Great Indian Kapil Show season 2 will be streaming on Netflix on September 21.
