She remarked, "It was kind of an accident. Female reproductive health has always been interesting to me. It just felt like an important subject to start with to demystify, de-stigmatize and give parents and young people who are about to experience big changes in their bodies a tool and a resource."

"I have a period, and I want my boys to understand what I’m going through, I want them to be supportive or maybe eventual partners. When I was young and I was learning about sex-ed and health, we were separated, so it was all a mystery, and it doesn’t feel right," she concluded passionately.
