Expressing her viewpoint, Lopez highlighted the positive changes in Hollywood's perception of age and experience, stating, "It has changed a lot, and I think it’s appropriate. As you get older and you have more experience, you become a richer human being and you have more to offer." She debunked the outdated notion that women over 30 lack value, finding it utterly absurd and even humorous.
According to her interview in ELLE's December/January 2023 Women in Hollywood issue, Lopez stressed the increasing recognition of the allure and depth of older women. She emphasized the inherent beauty and attractiveness that come with age, not merely physical but also the internal grace, wisdom, and character that grow over time.
Refuting any thoughts of retirement or slowing down, Lopez, who is married to actor Ben Affleck, expressed her ongoing commitment to her craft, stating, "I see myself working (as long as) I want to."
