Since her debut in 2018 with 'Dhadak', Janhvi Kapoor has undergone a significant transformation in her career. She has showcased her talent as an actress through stellar performances in films like 'Roohi' and 'Mili', among others.
Janhvi is set to mark her debut in South Indian cinema with Jr NTR's 'Devara', a film that is yet to be released. Adding to her repertoire, she has also secured a role in another Telugu film alongside Ram Charan.
The announcement of her involvement in the Ram Charan starrer, tentatively titled 'RC 16', coincided with her birthday on March 6.
The makers celebrated Janhvi's inclusion in the project by sharing a picture of her adorned in traditional attire on social media platform X, captioned with, ''Welcoming the celestial beauty on board for #RC16. Happy Birthday to the mesmerizing #JanhviKapoor(sic)''.
Reports suggest that Janhvi will play a significant role in the film, while Ram Charan is rumored to portray a dual character. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, known for his work in 'Uppena', the movie will feature music composed by AR Rahman. Additionally, actress Mrunalini Thakur from 'Sita Ramam' will also be part of the project.
Currently, Janhvi Kapoor is occupied with her commitments to 'Devara', where she stars alongside Jr NTR from 'RRR'. Directed by Koratala Siva, she expressed her excitement about the project during the India Today Conclave, stating, “Literally counting down the days (to the film’s shoot). I message the director (Koratala Siva) every day. Working with Jr NTR has been a dream. I recently re-watched RRR. The magnitude of charisma that he has. To be able to share screen space with him will be one of the biggest joys of my life.”
In addition to her collaborations with 'RRR' actors, Janhvi also has other projects in her pipeline, including 'Mr. and Mrs Mahi' with Rajkummar Rao, 'Ulajh' with Roshan Mathew and Gulshan Devaiah, and 'Sunny Sunskari Ki Tulsi Kumari' with Varun Dhawan.
