Actress Ileana D'Cruz has given fans a warm glimpse into her pregnancy process as she gears up to welcome her second child with husband Michael Dolan.
Sharing on her Instagram Stories, Ileana posted a touching black and white photo of herself with a friend. In the image, the two ladies, both clearly pregnant, stand facing each other with bright smiles.
Their bulging baby bumps are obviously exposed as they hug affectionately with hands on hips. Ileana is wearing a shiny black dress, while her friend dons a light-colored, tight-fitting dress.
Captioning the photo just "Bump buddies," Ileana beamed with happiness as she shared this moment of special bonding with her friend.
The actress had subtly hinted at her second pregnancy earlier in January, when she shared a New Year’s video that sparked speculation. She officially confirmed the news in February by posting a relatable late-night moment — a photo featuring her midnight cravings and a bottle of antacid. Alongside the image, she wrote: “Tell me you’re pregnant without telling me you’re pregnant,” confirming her second journey into motherhood.
Ileana and Michael Dolan married in a low-key ceremony in 2023. Later in the year, April to be specific, she posted about her first pregnancy on Instagram. She posted a picture accompanied by the caption, "Coming soon. Can't wait to meet you, my little darling." In August, she happily welcomed her newborn to the world, posting, "No words could explain how happy we are to welcome our darling boy to the world. Heart's beyond full."
Professionally, Ileana was last appeared in the romantic comedy Do Aur Do Pyaar, which is directed by Shirsha Guha Thakurta. Vidya Balan, Pratik Gandhi, and Sendhil Ramamurthy also appear in prominent roles in the film.
She started her acting career at the age of 38 with the Telugu romantic drama Devadasu in 2006. She later appeared in a number of successful South Indian films, such as Pokiri, Jalsa, Kick, and Julayi. She also gained recognition in Tamil cinema with Nanban.
In 2012, Ileana debuted with Anurag Basu's Barfi!, the success of which catapulted her to fame. Her career in Hindi films has seen her playing the lead in box office successes such as the romantic comedy Main Tera Hero, thrillers like Rustom and Raid.
