The wedding rumors of Indian cricketers KL Rahul and Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty have been making rounds in the industry for a long time now. And now finally, Athiya’s dad Suniel Shetty has broken his silence and reacted to their wedding rumors.
A report by PTI suggested that Suniel Shetty has approved their wedding. The Bollywood actor said that he loves Rahul but added that a decision on marriage will be taken by the couple.
"She is a daughter, she will get married sometime. I'd want my son also to get married. The sooner the better! But it's their choice. As far as Rahul is concerned, I love the boy. It's for them to decide what they want to do because times have changed. I'd like them to take the decision. My blessings are always there," Suniel Shetty said in his latest interview.
Athiya made her relationship official with Rahul earlier this year, when she posted a mushy monochrome picture on Rahul’s birthday.
The couple has been delivering goals ever since they started hanging out together. While the batsman puts his cricketing skills to display on the pitch, his ladylove supports and cheers for him in the stands.
