The makers of the Housefull series have wrapped up filming for the fifth installment of the comedy franchise, officially announcing the completion of Housefull 5 on Tuesday.
The fifth installment of the hit comedy franchise is directed by Tarun Mansukhani, known for Dostana, and produced under Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment banner. Fans are excited for this new chapter in the series.
As revealed in an Instagram post through their official Instagram handle posting news of shooting wrap-up with a series of pics of the cast and the crew. The caption in brief stated, "That's a wrap for Housefull 5!A rollercoaster of emotions, filled with laughter, hard work and unforgettable memories. Get ready to laugh your hearts out on 6th June 2025 in cinemas near you!!"
The makers also posted, stating in their post that Housefull 5 would be out in theatres on 6th June, 2025.
The first part of Housefull, released in 2010, starred Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Lara Dutta, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Rampal, and Boman Irani. It was a commercial hit. There were three sequels of the original film: Housefull 2 in 2012, Housefull 3 in 2016, and Housefull 4 in 2019.
For the third installment of the Housefull franchise, released in 2016, director Sajid Khan was replaced by the director duo Sajid Samji and Farhad Samji. The fourth installment, which had a reincarnation-themed comedy storyline, was also directed by Farhad Samji.
The star-studded cast includes Fardeen Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Chitrangada Singh, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, and Nikitin Dheer.
