Renowned singer-songwriter Beyoncé has recently revealed that she drew inspiration from Grammy-winning artist Jack White for her latest venture into the country music scene with her album 'Cowboy Carter'. While Beyoncé and Jack White didn't collaborate directly on the album, the former White Stripes frontman played a significant role in influencing Queen Bey's musical direction.
Expressing her gratitude, Beyoncé sent Jack a bouquet of flowers to convey her appreciation for his impact on her work. In a note attached to the floral arrangement, she conveyed her admiration, stating, “Jack, I hope you are well. I just wanted you to know how much you inspired me on this record. Sending you my love, Beyoncé.”
In response to Beyoncé's gesture, Jack White reciprocated the warmth, praising the 'Texas Hold 'Em' singer for her graciousness and acknowledging her music's beauty and power. Taking to Instagram to share the heartfelt moment, he posted a picture of the flowers and note, expressing his admiration: “What a sweet gesture to receive here in Nashville this morning from the talented and gracious @beyonce celebrating her new Cowboy Carter album. Much love and respect to you Madam, and thank you kindly. Keep making beautiful and powerful music, nobody sings like you.”
Although 'Cowboy Carter' marks Beyoncé's solo exploration into country music, it's not the first time the two artists have crossed paths creatively. They previously collaborated on the track ‘Don’t Hurt Yourself’ from Beyoncé’s 2016 album ‘Lemonade’. Jack White also once revealed that Beyoncé expressed interest in forming a band with him, highlighting the mutual respect and admiration between the two musicians.
