Bigg Boss is one of the most controversial shows in the Indian TV industry but it has produced more actors and stars than any show ever did and Sunny Leone is the biggest proof of that. After entering the show as a wild-card in season 5, the actress made such a great splash that even the renowned Bollywood filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt entered the BB house to sign her as the lead in Jism 2.
While the reality show has witnessed a lot of activities in the previous seasons, including marriages, hookups, and breakups, this was the first time when a business deal was signed inside the house. When the Bollywood actress, Sunny Leone entered the Bigg Boss house in season 5 and expressed her wish to explore the industry, she grabbed many eyeballs and made filmmakers sign her as the lead actress in their films. However, beating the bandwagon, Mahesh Bhatt approached her first and signed her as lead actor for Jism 2.
Mahesh Bhatt, who clearly has an eye for talent - given that he has successfully created iconic stars John Abraham, Bipasha Basu, Kangana Ranaut, and Emraan Hashmi among others – saw potential in Sunny Leone as the lead for his upcoming film Jism 2.

Back in time, speaking about this landmark move to discuss a movie deal on national television, director Mahesh Bhatt said ““Jism 2 is the story of a woman who transcends from the 'body' to the 'soul’. For Jism 2, I wanted to approach an actress who not only has the physical attributes but also the emotional 'edge' to carry off the complexity of the role. While I have leading Bollywood actresses eager to essay this role, I was keen to also discuss this proposal with a confident, professional newcomer like sunny who has expressed interest in making a Bollywood debut."
Without thinking twice, the actress accepted Bhatt’s proposal which resulted in Pooja Bhatt's production house, Fish Eye Network signing her as lead and helping her making her way to the showbiz world of Bollywood.
However, on the work front, the Bollywood actress Sunny Leone is all set to foray into the Malayalam film industry. The actress has started shooting for her Mollywood debut titled 'Rangeela' in Goa.
