As a birthday tribute to Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan, the much-awaited trailer of the show 'Fauji 2' released on Saturday. It features Gauahar Khan, Vicky Jain, and a host of fresh talents.
The trailer starts by showing Gauahar riding a cycle before plunging to show the boys in action, undertaking different adrenaline-pumping sporting activities such as boxing, swimming, intense gym workouts, and bike racing.
The new show is going to feature exemplary skills by the presentation of all soldiers featured according to the skill shown to each soldier. Reportedly, it has been billed as a sequel to an original SRK-starrer show. This will mark the entry of a superstar into the entertainment sphere.
Gauahar Khan and Vicky Jain will helm the new cast and take on the legacy of this iconic series with a fresh twist.
Speaking about the show, Gauahar Khan said, "Nothing more magical than a creative team such as this coming together to create one of the iconic shows of our time.". Producer Sandeep Singh said, "'Fauji 2' is a tribute to the classic that introduced us to Shah Rukh Khan's genius. We're bringing a vibrant, contemporary version that aims to captivate viewers with the same spirit and thrill as the original." Abhinav Pareek, who directed 'Sab Moh Maaya Hai' and 'A Wedding Story', has also been tapped for 'Fauji 2'.
That is, it will come on from November 18, Monday to Thursday at 9 pm on Doordarshan.
