Singer "Lizzo's Watch Out For The Big Grrrls" won the competition series Emmy for Competition Program category at the 74th Television Academy Awards, hosted by Kenan Thompson.
The series sees the singer audition a group of women for the chance to be a Big Grrrl -- one of the plus-sized backup dancers who perform with her on tour, reports 'Variety'.
Accepting the award in tears, Lizzo cried out for the Big Grrrls to join her onstage: "The trophy is nice, but my emotion is for these people who are on the stage with me. The stories that they shared, they're not that unique. They just don't get told. Let's just tell more stories."
"When I was a little girl, all I wanted to see was me in the media," she said.
"Someone fat like me. Black like me. Beautiful like me. If I could go back and tell little Lizzo something, I would be like, 'You're going to see that person, but b***h, it's going to have to be you.'"
"One year ago, these women were filming this television show that would change their lives forever. They are Emmy award-winning superstars who are going on a world tour! Make some noise for my Big Grrrls. I love you so much. God bless y'all. This is for the big girls."

"Lizzo's Watch Out for the Big Grrrls" (Amazon Prime Video) was competing against "The Amazing Race" (CBS), "Nailed It!" (Netflix) , "RuPaul's Drag Race" (VH1), "Top Chef" (Bravo) and "The Voice" (NBC).
Emmys 2022: Amanda Seyfried crowned Best Lead Actress in a Limited Series award
Actress Amanda Seyfried lifted the trophy for the Best Lead Actress in a Limited Series for the Hulu show 'The Dropout' at the 74th Television Academy Awards, hosted by Kenan Thompson.
"This is a really nice feeling," she said.
The actress, who won praises for her portrayal of disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes in 'The Dropout', was nominated with Julia Garner ('Inventing Anna'), Margaret Qualley ('Maid'), Sarah Paulson ('Impeachment: American Crime Story'), Lily James ('Pam & Tommy') and Toni Collette ('The Staircase').
The award ceremony was held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, where Seyfried took home the award.
Emmys 2022: Jennifer Coolidge takes home Outstanding Supporting Actress in Limited Series
Actress Jennifer Coolidge was presented with the Outstanding Supporting Actress in Limited Series for her performance in 'The White Lotus' at the 74th Television Academy Awards, hosted by Kenan Thompson.
The award ceremony was held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, where she took home the award.

She was nominated against four of her 'The White Lotus' co-stars -- Alexandra Daddario, Connie Britton, Natasha Rothwell and Sydney Sweeney, as well as 'Dopesick' actors Kaitlyn Dever and Mare Winningham.
Coolidge, who is popularly known as her character name Stifler's mom from the 'American Pie' series, is all set to reprise her role as Tanya McQuoid in Season 2 of 'The White Lotus'.
