Reflecting on the inspiration behind the album, Dua Lipa, 28, shared, "A few years back, a friend introduced me to the concept of Radical Optimism. It immediately struck a chord with me, and I found myself delving deeper into it, integrating it into my life."

She continued, "The notion of navigating chaos with grace and maintaining resilience resonated profoundly with me."

Hinting at the diverse musical journey the album will embark on, the 'One Kiss' artist expressed her fascination with various genres. "Simultaneously, I found myself exploring the rich musical landscapes of psychedelia, trip hop, and Britpop. These genres have always exuded a sense of unwavering optimism to me, a sentiment that I embraced wholeheartedly during the recording process."

Dua Lipa's 'Radical Optimism' has already been preceded by two hit singles.

The first single, 'Houdini', dropped in November 2023, showcasing electro-psychedelic elements and peaking at Number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Its successor, the infectious disco-pop anthem 'Training Season', was released last month, achieving a commendable position at Number 27 on the chart.

Recently, Dua Lipa showcased both singles during her electrifying performance at the 2024 Grammy Awards. Notably, her contribution to the 'Barbie' soundtrack with the track 'Dance the Night' earned nominations for both Song of the Year and Best Song Written for Visual Media.
