Reports indicate that the initial version of the track sounded like a rough demo, featuring an interpolation of Junior M.A.F.I.A.'s 'Get Money', while a higher-quality version with a different beat emerged later in the day. Adding to the confusion, Power 105, a radio network, claimed the legitimacy of the diss track, unveiling official artwork depicting Lamar doing push-ups. However, Drake's camp did not immediately verify the track's authenticity.

Amidst a flurry of online debate, Drake seemingly acknowledged the track's legitimacy by posting a photo on Instagram featuring Uma Thurman as the Bride in 'Kill Bill', brandishing a Samurai sword amidst a group of assailants. The track was also endorsed by Power 105's parent company, iHeartRadio, further supporting its authenticity.

Titled 'Push Ups', Drake's song reportedly takes aim at multiple targets, including Lamar. He wastes no time in delivering a few verbal jabs at Lamar, while also poking fun at Lamar's collaborations with mainstream pop artists and insinuating financial disputes with his former label, Top Dawg Entertainment.
